Social Exclusion Can Be Cured - Turkey

Greece Mobility

The third mobility of our project; On 12-16 November 2018, we conducted an intensive training week in the “7th Lyceum” school in Heraklion, Crete, Greece. The method we focused on our works was "Project Based Learning".
Within the scope of "Social Exclusion Can Be Cured!" , one of our subjects in Greece was related to the integration of refugees. With our project partners, we made presentations about the works carried out by our countries in order to acceptance, accommodation and facilitate the lives  of the refugees coming to our countries. And we visited a center for unaccompanied refugees in Anogeia.  Each country prepared and presented its own traditional food in here. Also, dance, song, drawing, photo groups were created by creating activities. Our special education students also exhibited our traditional folk dance called "Çayda Çıra". During our stay in Greece, we visited historical and touristic places and received different information about the region. (The Lions Square, Archeological Museum, Saint Marcus Basilica, Rethimno, Knossos)
